Belgium Cuirassier Helmet with large Belgium lion helmet plate to the middle. Brass comb decorated with white metal flaming grenade to the front and standard design to the sides. Original plume holder to the side of the helmet. Original correct pattern chinstrap. No liner. Brass crest has a crack. Plume holder is loose. Reproduction parts and modern screws. It is dated "v 1861"; 1) French brass cuirassier style helmet. Crest with red simulated horse hair. Red plume. Brass chin strap holder with flower. Cimier with male face and flaming bomb. Partial lining. Brass is faded, scattered dents, missing the front plate, missing all fingers in lining. Front and back visor, hole on back visor. Reproduction parts and modern screws.
