This lot is of a cast iron hitching post of Black Americana. The figure is of an African American male, that stands barefoot with one overall strap over his white shirt. The clothes that this figure wears are too large for him and are sagging. His one arm hangs to his side, while the other is outstretched in front of him holding onto a gold handle. His head tilts to the side as he has a surprised look on his face. The figure has scratches all over and the paint is either rubbing off, fading, or chipping off.
