These unusual revolvers were introduced in 1961 and produced until 1974. They came with two cylinders, one for the .22 LR and the other for the .22 Jet cartridge, along with six Jet inserts. The .22 cylinder is numbered to gun. Jet cylinder is not numbered. Has a pinned barrel and recessed chamber. Features six shot, double action, blue finish, ramp front sight, adjustable rear, case colored hammer and trigger, with Smith & Wesson diamond checkered walnut grips. Trigger shoe added. Built on the square butt K target frame. Manufactured 1962. Grips are near mint. Cylinder has a light drag line and there is a bit of high edge muzzle wear and some light storage on barrel. Fine bore and action. Comes in the original two piece blue box numbered to gun with instructions. Approximately 14,956 manufactured.
