Offered is the scarce pre-war square butt, six shot, double action Colt Detective Special manufactured in 1930. Features factory blue finish with checkered trigger and hammer, with Colt silver medallion pre-war square butt grips. Cylinder has light drag line, some minor high edge wear, light muzzle wear, injector rod head still has great case colors, grips are near mint, perfect action and near mint bore. Revolver retains approximately 98% of original factory blue finish. Cylinder shows little to no cylinder burn. Retains all blue on grip straps. Beautiful near mint example of a pre-war detective.
