Sword A) Slightly curved single fuller blade, nickel plated and etched on one side with large intertwined “US” surrounded by military motifs, the other side with a vacant presentation panel, scrolls, military motifs and the U.S. eagle and 6-pointed “PROVED” star, spine etched with Acanthus leaf pattern. Typical nickel-plated guard with brown Bakelite grip and white leather sword knot. Nickel plated scabbard with chain hanger. Excellent condition. Blade with a few light marks from scabbard, hilt and scabbard showing some oxidation to finish. Sword B) Slightly curved single fuller blade, nickel plated and etched on one side with large intertwined “US” surrounded by military motifs and at top stamped “GERMANY” below etched “TRADE/SPARTAN/MARK”, the other side with a vacant presentation panel, scrolls, military motifs, and the U.S. eagle and star with brass “PROVED” inlay; spine etched with Acanthus leaf pattern. Typical nickel-plated guard with black plastic grip and white leather sword knot. Nickel plated scabbard with chain hanger. Excellent condition. Blade with a few light marks from scabbard, hilt and scabbard showing some light oxidation to finish.
