Gun A) Single shot Hopkins & Allen/Merwin, Hulbert & Co. rifle with blued octagonal barrel. Plum colored falling block action with ring mounted on right side. Plain walnut stocks. Good condition, as reblued, some markings faint, light scattered rust on action. Buttstock replaced, forend has large areas of losses along top of each side. Gun B) Single shot falling block rifle, two-stage, blued barrel marked with maker, caliber and serial number on bottom. Case-hardened lever and falling block action, blued block and hammer. Plain walnut stocks with crescent steel buttplate. Very good condition. Barrel retains about 90% original blue finish with some light edge wear and a few scattered light marks. Action retains 30% case colors, mostly faded and some light spotting. Stocks very good with a few scattered light marks. Very good bore with some light spots.
