Black metal telescope shaped vessel with tan and white lettering and a white, hand-painted calla lily. Inside of the 'telescope' is a mesh screen used for sifting the contents of flour. The base has four separate compartments: a drawer with mail slot, a receptacle with a hinged lid that reads "NUTMEG", and two open spaces on either side that were originally used for storing canisters of various spices. Includes a wooden utensil. The finish shows spots of paint loss and scratches. Circa 1800's.
