Manufactured by the Royal Arsenal in Erfurt, Germany for the German Armed Forces from 1910 to 1913. This pistol is dated 1912. All matching external numbers including the checkered walnut grips, wood bottom aluminum magazine is numbered 2721. The extractor, firing pin and breech block internal numbers do not match. Has “Erfurt” and crown on front toggle, blue finish with straw colored small parts. Pistol retains about 75% original blue with high edge wear and some minor pin pricks on barrel and sideplate. Grips are very good. Comes with a Nazi marked 1941 leather holster with loading tool, in excellent shape. Great example of an early pre-World War I Luger.
