Approximately 7,500 to 8,500 manufactured by DWM for commercial sales to U.S. Front of frame is marked “Germany”. Chamber has American eagle, toggle stamped “DWM”. Gun features blued finish with straw colored small parts and checkered walnut grips. This is an assembled gun, barrel is not marked, frame does not have grip safety, wood bottom aluminum magazine numbered to another gun and walnut grips panels are not numbered. Numbers are mismatched. Barrel retains 95% blue finish, frame and slide show high edge wear mixed with patina, retaining approximately 60%, not counting grip frames which are basically brown patina.
