Offered is a standard manufactured K98 short rifle. Bridge is stamped “337/1940”. Manufactured at Gustloff-Werke, Weimar. This carbine, or short rifle, was the standard shoulder arm of the German Armed Forces during World War II. Matching numbers on bridge, barrel, rear sight, bolt, bolt handle, safety, buttplate, trigger guard, floorplate screws and front barrel band. Stock not numbered. Original sling and muzzle cover. Laminated stock is excellent. Thin steel buttplate. Excellent bore and perfect action. All metal is a blue-brown soft patina. No import marks. Fine example of an all original Nazi Mauser.
