Offered is a standard manufactured K98 short rifle. Bridge is stamped “bnz 43”. Manufactured at Steyr-Daimler-Puch, Steyr/Oberdonau. This carbine, or short rifle, was the standard shoulder arm of the German Armed Forces during World War II. This Mauser remains in all original condition with complete matching numbers to include: frame, barrel, front barrel band, bolt, bolt handle, floorplate and trigger guard. Stock not numbered. Original sling. Laminated stock is very good. Steel buttplate. Excellent bore and perfect action. Blue-brown patina on barrel bands and floorplate. No import marks. Excellent example of a Nazi Mauser.
