Offered is a typical U.S. Springfield Model 1903 World War II rebuild. Action was manufactured in 1918. Sports a Hi-Standard May 1944 replacement barrel, World War II replacement scant stock, smooth buttplate, World War II era rear sight and swept bolt. Milled trigger guard and floorplate. Comes with a leather sling with two brass frogs. Right side of stock is stamped 3542, which indicates that this is the original stock used when the rifle was rebuilt. Metal is a grey-brown patina. Stocks are excellent with no cracks. Action is fine. Strong clean four-groove barrel.
