This beautiful custom rifle was built using the Springfield action. Rifle features ramp front sight, not cut for rear sight, Lyman scope block, Monte Carlo comb, hard rubber buttplate and pistol grip cap. Beautifully carved pistol grip walnut stock with black composite buttplate, pistol cap and black forend tip. The barrel and receiver are beautifully engraved. Barrel engraving extends 7” from breech with some silver inlay. Right side of frame has a silver inlay of a moose. Original swept bolt. Barrel and frame retain approximately 95% reapplied finish. Stock has a few minor dings. There is some carving under rollover cheek piece. Floorplate and trigger guard are engraved with silver inlay and a silver ram. Fine bore and action. Comes with a period sling. Beautiful custom pre-war Springfield sporting rifle.
