Octagonal blued rifled barrel, steel loading lever mounted below. Blued frame with sprigs of engraving. Five-shot blued percussion cylinder. Left side numbered “2868” and stamped with “C” intertwined with an anchor. Case hardened back action percussion lock, hammer with rounded face. Checkered walnut grips and steel buttcap with a lanyard ring. Hammer, top of frame and lock are all marked with “C” and an anchor or maker’s mark in a circle, “A(anchor)O”. Double action mechanism. Very good condition. Barrel and frame retain 60-70% blue finish, some areas turned to brown with scattered areas of light pitting and some edge wear.
