19th century. Round barrels with fading gilt bands at breaches and muzzles, indistinct Belgian proof on top near each breech. Flat flintlock lockplates with chiseled webs at tangs and engraved borders and pendants. Lockplates marked "Godbert Pere" on the right and "a' Amiens" on left. Lock features waterproof pans, roller frizzens and French style cocks. Belgian proof. Flat beveled locks signed in script "Godbert/Pere" and "Armurier/a/Amiens". French cocks, frizzens, rollers and partial rainproof pans, double triggers. Engraved steel mounts. Walnut half-stock with cheekpiece, the pistol grip carved with a boar’s head. Good condition with barrels pitted overall, locks with grey patina, mounts with light pitting in some areas. Stock good with repair beneath locks, some stress cracks and scattered marks from use. CORRECTION: There is a crack in the hammer on the right side. The left side of the hammer appears to have been welded at some point.
