This Japanese military pistol was manufactured from November 1943 to February 1944. It has the large trigger guard. It is stamped “18.12” (SHOWA). Manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal at the Toriimatsu Factory. Has matching numbers on magazine and both grips. Features the early grooved cocking knob. Standard features include military dull blue finish and mahogany grips with 24 serrations. Gun exhibits some overall minor age spotting. The rear grip strap does have some salt and pepper pitting, as does front strap, obviously from sweat. Bore and action are fine.
