Blued octagonal barrel with half moon front sight. Marked on left top flat “S.S. ‘ENGINEER. 1882'". Two English proofs at breech. Top of blued double action frame marked “BLISSETT & SON/LIVERPOOL”. Six shot cylinder with British proofs between each chamber. Polished hammer and trigger, one-piece grip of checkered walnut with steel butt cap and lanyard ring. Very good condition, barrel retains 80%-90% bright blue finish with light edge wear, some wear at muzzle and a few scattered marks from use. Frame retains about 40% blue finish with some flaking below cylinder and on back of frame on both sides. Hammer and trigger with scattered, light freckling. Grips excellent and butt cap with a few traces of blue finish.
