Made by Continental Novelty Co. Buffalo, NY in the late 1800s to early 1900s both in Canadian and American versions. This is the first example we have seen with the coin insert tube. Has all original paint with an aged finish to the iron castings. The mirror is a replacement. In as found condition, there is moderate loss and age cracks to the paint. This example is lacking the mechanism and back mechanism cover plate but still has a great look and displays well.
