These rifles were produced from the 1870’s until about 1895. There were 15 different models. Features nickel plated frame, trigger guard and buttplate with half octagon blued barrel and walnut stock. Manufactured without a forearm. Features the Beach folding front sight with varnished stock and Vernier tang sight. This rifle remains in excellent all original condition. The barrel retains approximately 90% of the brilliant factory blue with razor sharp legends. Frame retains approximately 99% original nickel on left side and bottom while the right side has a couple of flakes but still retains 90%. Hammer and tang sight still retain generous portions of Nitre blue. Buttplate retains approximately 90% original nickel. All screw heads are near mint. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal with original finish and no cracks of any kind. Bore is very good. Perfect action. Far above average early Stevens single shot.
