Gun A) Single shot Belgian bag handle boot pistol with an octagon barrel, engraved nickel plated frame and one piece walnut handle. Barrel retains approximately 70% of the beautiful early Nitre blue finish. Traces of Nitre blue on hammer and trigger guard. 75% original nickel on frame. Grips are excellent with no chips or cracks. Nice rifling and perfect action. Gun B) Double barrel, double hammer percussion shotgun, half stock, original ramrod, engraved back action sideplates and hammers, double triggers and checkered walnut stock. Stock is very good to excellent with no major cracks and worn checkering. Barrels are brown patina with heavy pitting. It is interesting to note, that when we received this handgun it was still fully loaded with a full charge of powder and ball and the wadding is a 19th century English newspaper, indicating this pistol had remained loaded for well over 100 years. Included is the ball, powder and wadding.
