Manufactured 1937. Features the checkered walnut straight comb pistol grip stock. The barrel has the rear collar with sporting sight, as well as ramp front sight and hood. Rifle sports a Weaver K4 scope with Weaver mounts. This rifle is chambered for the .300 Holland & Holland cartridge, not the later .300 Magnums. 37,186 Pre-64 .300 H&H Magnums were manufactured, it is one of the most versatile and popular calibers in the Winchester line-up. Serial number is etched into bolt. Barrel and frame retains approximately 80% original blue. Stock is excellent with usual dings. It is obvious this rifle has been used but very well-cared for. Excellent bore and action. Comes with a period sling.
