Browned round Damascus steel barrels with solid concave rib with doll's head extension, marked "J.P. CLABROUGH & BROS. LONDON." and "THREE WEDGE FAST." near breech, breech with engraved borders. Scroll engraved sidelock hammer actions with banners on both sides of lockplates, which read "J.P. CLABROUGH BROS." and engraved pair of pheasants at tail on each side. Extractors, double set triggers. Figured walnut pistol grip buttstock with checkered grip, vacant silver oval escutcheon on bottom and black makers buttplate. Checkered splinter forearm with Deeley release and engraved cap on tip. Good condition. Re-browned barrels showing some wear to markings and some wear to finish, especially around breeches, silver bead filed and flush with fib, corroded bores. Actions partially cleaned, otherwise retaining a heavy brown patina with some scattered marks from use. Stock is good with scattered dents and some marred checkering, buttplate with some marring to serrations, forend good with some marred checkering on left side.
