This is the last United States issue carbine and is standard in all respects. Distinctive features include the carbine marked rear sight, walnut handguard with no hump, no saddle ring, and walnut stock. Stock cartouche visible but no readable with proof “P” on wrist. Barrel is a smooth blue-brown patina. Frame and magazine are basically soft gun metal grey turning plum. Stock is excellent with no cracks or chips. Trigger guard is basically patina. Fine action. Excellent strong bore.
