Round blued steel side by side barrels with solid matte rib and twin white beads, rib marked "HUNTER ARMS CO., FULTON N.Y.". Case-hardened sidelock actions, both marked "L.C. SMITH", left side engraved with a panel with two grouse, the other side with two floating ducks, bottom of action with scrolls and also engraved with scattered scrolls and shells around breeches. Extractors, non-automatic safeties and double triggers. Partially figured walnut semi-pistol grip stock with shaped checkered panels on each side of wrist and maker's black buttplate. Checkered splinter forend with ebony tip, hard rubber setter inlaid in to center of forend. This shotgun was manufactured in 1912 and is one of only 862 made. Excellent condition as professionally refinished. Barrels retains 95-98% re-blued finish with some wear at muzzles and a few light marks, bores are excellent. Action retains nearly all case colors, re-blued trigger guard shows some wear to engraving and light pitting under finish, some screws marred. Stock is very good as refinished showing a few light marks. Traces of old finish on hard rubber pistol grip cap, dog's head on forend shows heavy wear.
