Blued over and under barrels with vent matte rib and single white bead, marked on left side, near breech "GEBRUDER MERKEL/SUHL." Chiseled box lock action with crossbolt, left side with three pheasants and a hawk, right side with three ducks; bottom with scrolls and marked "GEBR. MERKEL/SUHL" with logo. Ejectors, non-automatic safeties, single trigger with barrel selector. Figured walnut straight butt stock with checkered panels on wrist and red Pachmayr recoil pad, checkered three piece walnut forearm with Deeley release. Excellent condition, barrels retain 98% blue finish with some muzzle wear and wear on edges of rib. Excellent shiny bores. Action retains 98% nickel finish, somewhat darkening, blued accents excellent. Stocks excellent showing a few light marks from use.
