A little known shotgun among shooters and collectors. It was only manufactured for five years from 1949 to 1954. Standard features include blued finish, single bead sight, solid frame, flat bottom grooved walnut forend, plain pistol grip stock, and Winchester black composite butt plate. Externally resembles a solid frame Model 12 hammerless but with a single slide bar. This shotgun remains in far better condition than most that are encountered, having seen little use. Metal retains 95% original factory blue overall and stocks are excellent to near mint, even the tube retains most of its original factory blue. Perfect working order. Near mint bore. An interesting, high condition Winchester shotgun.
