This is a Third Model, referred to as the Perfected Target pistol. Fires single and double action. Built on revolver type frame with no cylinder. Manufactured 1909 to 1923. Features include solid one piece frame and trigger guard, ribbed barrel, adjustable rear sight, blued finish, top break, case colored hammer and trigger, centered trigger and elongated two piece Smith & Wesson gold medallion checkered grips with two screws. This pistol retains approximately 60-70% original factory blue with balance turning plum. Grips are excellent with the exception of monogram carved on butt. Perfect action. Strong visible rifling with minor abrasions. Sharp legends.
