Manufactured in 1904. Features a full round barrel, half magazine, takedown, lever action, blued finish, walnut stocks, and Winchester black composite buttplate. Has a small ramp Sheared style front sight and Marbles sporting full buckhorn rear. Barrel retains approximately 85% of the high polish factory blue finish with sharp legends. Neither the frame nor the barrel have the “P.W.” proof. Blued framed retains approximately 85% blue on sides, top and bottom mixing with patina. Nice evidence of trace colors on lever and hammer. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks or chips. Strong clean bore and perfect action. Great .45-70 short rifle.
