Gun A) Winchester Model 12 L. Slide action shotgun. Manufactured 1920. This is a standard Field Grade takedown with plain barrel, blued finish, walnut stock and pistol grip. This gun has seen use. Overall metal retains between 30-40% blue. Forearm is very good. Chip at heel on both wood and butt plate. Solid wrist. Fine action and clean bore. Gun B) Remington Model 31. Plain barrel, blued finish, walnut stock and pistol grip. This shotgun was offered from 1931 to 1949. Barrel retains approximately 90% original blue with strong legends. 60% blue on frame starting to thin and freckle. Forearm is near mint. Butt stock has a closed 2” crack on left and right wrist and numerous hunting dings. Bright shiny bore and fine action. This lot comes with one period canvas takedown case in poor condition.
