This rifle was manufactured in 1886. Features full octagon barrel, hooded globe front sight, rear sight slot with filler, tang sight, blued finish, walnut stock, and rifle butt. Both the barrel and the frame have the P.W. inspector stamp, which means this rifle was back at the factory for some work after 1905. Barrel retains approximately 90% original factory blue finish with beautiful luster, and razor sharp edges and legends. Frame retains approximately the same amount of Winchester mirror high polish factory finish, thinned out on lower tang. Traces of case colors on hammer. Lever and buttplate are patina. Bottom of barrel is stamped "No. 1" and the blue on bottom of barrel is starting to thin. Original walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, and not refinished. Fine action. Strong rifling. An extremely fine Winchester Low Wall. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this firearm will be given to Ducks Unlimited Canada.
