Round Damascus steel side by side barrels with solid rib and single silver bead; rib marked "J BURROW. MAKER. 116. FISHERGATE. PRESTON". Scroll engraved sidelock hammer action; hammers, locks, and bottom of action all engraved with fine scroll and floral patterns, trigger guard bow and tang engraved en suite. Straight walnut buttstock with checkered wrist and Jostam red rubber recoil pad; splinter forearm with diamond section checkering. Good condition; barrels retain a mostly grey patina with some original brown Damascus finish towards muzzles and on rib; some areas of dark spots and light pitting, especially on bottoms of barrels. Actions retain a mostly light grey patina. Bores excellent. Stock is good with some deep nicks, dents, and scattered marks from use. Buttpad is deteriorating. Forearm probably re-checkered and showing scattered marks from use. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this firearm will be given to Ducks Unlimited Canada.
