Made in Japan. This is the most deluxe Vanguard we have ever seen. Features full relief scroll engraving that extends down barrel 9” from breech. Similar engraving on the last 2” of muzzle, hooded ramp front sight, fold down rear sight and Redfield mounts. The Weatherby stock features deluxe walnut, high gloss finish with contrasting rosewood grip cap with diamond and forend tip, diamond hand cut checkering. In addition to the checkering the stock exhibits relief carving of leaves on the forend, pistol grip and buttstock. Right side of stock has a deep relief carved full scene of antlered game with mountains and pine trees. Weatherby basket weave solid red pad with sling eyes and sling. This rifle is in near new condition inside and out. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this firearm will be given to Ducks Unlimited Canada.
