This is an extremely early model made in Italy. Semi-automatic, magazine fed, with a folding leaf rear sight, ramp front sight, scarce Myrtle wood stock, rosewood forend tip and grip cap and Weather solid red rubber recoil pad. This model was introduced in 1964 and production began in Japan in 1967. These were expensive rifles when first offered and priced at over half the cost of a Weatherby MK V. This rifle retains virtually all of its original finish, remains in near new condition inside and out with just the usual impressions in the wood. 99% original metal finish. Fine bore and action. These early models are rarely seen and almost never with this rare wood. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this firearm will be given to Ducks Unlimited Canada.
