Both sets with blued barrels with single white beads and solid matte ribs; both left barrels marked "FCA A. ARRIETA - ELGOIBAR (ESPANA)". Both ribs inlaid with name "FRANK E. CLARKE" in gold with a gold border surrounded by scroll engraving and numbered '1' and '2' inlaid in gold. Chiseled breeches decorated with panels of high relief oak leaves and acorns. Nickel plated sidelock actions with blued side plates with cocking indicators; sideplates are profusely decorated with gold inlays; the left side features a pointer with two rabbits surrounded by scroll engraving and the right side shows a relief setter and two pigeons, bottom of action engraved with fine scrolls and inlaid with four relief gold pheasants. Trigger guard bow engraved with gold inlaid panel scene with a squirrel in a tree. Blued lever, safety and double triggers; ejectors; and automatic safeties. Sling swivels on stock and bottom of barrels. Highly figured walnut straight buttstock with engraved skeleton buttplate and shaped checkered panels with Fleur-de-Lis patterns on each side of wrist. Splinter forearm with scattered Fleur-de-Lis within checkering; Anson release. Beaver tail forearm on second set of barrels carved and checkered en suite. Excellent condition; both sets of barrels have excellent shiny bores and one set of barrels with some small abrasions on left side, some wear on tops of relief oak leaves. Action is excellent showing little or no use. Buttstock and splinter forearm are excellent showing no wear or flaws; beaver tail forearm has one small splinter of wood missing on right side against barrel.
