Manufactured in 1930. Blued barrel with vented rib and two white beads; stamped "PARKER BROS MAKERS MERIDEN, C.T. U.S.A. ACME STEEL" on left side, near breech. Case-hardened boxlock action engraved with scrolls on both sides and marked "PARKER BROS." Bottom of action with scroll engraving and inlaid with a gold pheasant.; gold trigger. Ejector; no safety. Partially figured walnut stock and beavertail forend with Deeley release. Panels of checkering and relief carved panels and Fleur-de-lis patterns on both sides. Bottom of butt stock with vacant gold oval escutcheon and brown rubber Pachmayr butt pad. Excellent condition, as refinished and enhanced. Retains about 95-98% re-blued finish and case hardening. Some aftermarket engraving professionally added. Stocks excellent, as refinished and embellished with carving. Excellent bore. CORRECTION: CHE Grade.
