This revolver was manufactured in 1954 to 1955 and was built on the square butt N target frame with pinned barrel and non-recessed cylinder. Matching numbers on yoke and cylinder. Sports the original Smith & Wesson monogrammed diamond checkered walnut Magna grips with black disc. Right grip panel is stamped with matching serial number. Features six shot, double action, adjustable target rear sight, high Patridge front sight and case colored hammer and trigger. Revolver retains approximately 85-90% original dull factory blue finish with some light freckling on right side of frame, muzzle wear, high edge wear, high edge cylinder wear and light drag line. Fine bore and action. Fine early, post-war .44 target revolver.
