Gun A: (A) Erfurt Gewehr 91 Bolt Action Carbine. Round heavy blued barrel with front barrel band with integral sight and adjustable flip up sight. Chamber marked “S/Crown/ERFURT/1892” with three German proofs on right side. Left side of action marked “Gew. 91.” Straight pull bolt action with flat bolt handle, and wing safety on back of bolt. Blued box magazine complete with original stripper clip. Full-length walnut stock with sling cutout and two German stamps near cutout. All numbers are matching. This is a scarce and early example of this rifle. Excellent condition, barrel retains 95%-98% blue finish with a few areas of light surface rust. Bolt and action retain a great patina with some heavy brown patina on top of bolt, top, and sides of action. Blued trigger guard and box magazine retaining most of blue finish with scattered areas of light rust and patina. Stock is excellent with a few minor scattered marks. Gun B: (C) Czechoslovakian Model 1898 Bolt Action Mauser Rifle. Blued round barrel with Century Arms import markings. Front barrel band with bayonet lug and rear band with sling swivels on both left side and bottom. Adjustable rear sight, bolt action receiver marked on top of breech with Czechoslovakian rampant line with shield and cross, and marked “E3/lion proof/38”, and “CESKOSLOVENSKA ZBROJOVKA,A.S,BRNO/VZ.24”. Straight bolt handle with ball, steel floor plate and trigger guard. Full-length walnut stock with groove on each side of fore end, and wooden hand guard, steel butt plate. Barrel retains most of re-blued finish, all other steel components mostly without finish, and have scattered marks from use. Stock good, but showing heavy use and some wear.
