In actuality, both guns are Browning patents, but one gun is actually made by Remington. Gun A) Blued finish, checkered walnut forend with non-checkered pistol grip walnut stock, and Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. The Model 11 was introduced in 1911 and manufactured until 1948; they were produced by Remington under license from Fabrique Nationale. Gun retains approximately 85% blue finish with etched receiver. Forend checkering shows wear with added varnish. Stock has been refinished, not cracked. Very good bore and action. Gun B) Belgian Browning Auto-5 semi-automatic shotgun. It has a blued finish, vent rib, single bead, round knob checkered walnut stock, original Browning rubber recoil pad, and checkered walnut forend. The frame of this shotgun was manufactured in Belgium in 1963. The barrel is a modern made in Japan Browning Arms replacement. Barrel retains 98% of its original factory blue finish. Frame has faded to a blue-grey patina. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with light overall wear, and some finish chipping at top tang.
