Manufactured 1916. The full octagon barrel in combination with the desirable Winchester caliber and the perch belly stock raises the level of interest in these fine firearms. Barrel retains approximately 75-80% original factory blue with razor sharp edges and legends. Frame retains approximately 75% of the high polish fire blue finish. Walnut stocks are excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks in wrist. Some darkening of oil on stock. Stock appears to have been cleaned. Lyman tang sight, Beech folding front sight, folding leaf rear sight and a left side brass cartridge counter. Action is fine. Very good strong rifled bore.
