Barrel was made by Remington Arms and dated September 1943. The frame was built in 1943-44. Standard features include updated rear bridge battle sight; non-grooved stock and forend; pressed barrel bands floorplate, and trigger guard; checkered steel buttplate with smooth trapdoor and "F.J.A." (frank Atwood) inspector mark on left side of stock; proof "P" in circle on wrist. Gun retains the majority of the green parkerized war-time finish. Middle band is blue, bolt is blue. ME reading 0; TE reading 1. Fine bore and action. Typical World War II battle right, all original.
