Manufactured by DWM for the German Army, developed for artillery and machine gun crews. They were made from 1914 to 1918 with the most common being 1917. This is dated 1916 on chamber. Has “DWM” on toggle. All matching numbers to include grip panels. Wood bottom magazine with aluminum body is numbered 1976. Has the adjustable barrel mounted sight. Blued finish with straw small parts and checkered walnut grip panels. This pistol has seen very little use; has all blue on grip straps, wear to sideplate, light high edge wear on rail and light muzzle wear. Still retains 95% of the brilliant factory applied blue finish. Fine bore and action. Comes with a matching dated 1916 leather holster with no tools. Very impressive high condition artillery rig. Seldom seen this early in this condition.
