Manufactured 1977 to 1978. The Model 57, .41 Magnum Target was introduced in 1964 and built on the square butt N target frame. The M prefix was introduced in 1969 and the 57-1 was introduced in 1982. This revolver features the pinned barrel and recessed cylinder with factory nickel finish, case colored target hammer and trigger, white line adjustable rear sight, ramp front sight with red insert and Smith & Wesson logo checkered wood grips. Cylinder has light drag line but shows no signs of burn or use. 99% near new inside and out. Comes in original mahogany display box with tools. Box has been relined.
