Parkerized round barrel fitted with Springfield birdcage flash hider and match front sight, parkerized semi-automatic action, marked on rear tang "US RIFLE M1A/SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY" and with he serial number. With supermatch rear peep sight and parkerized trigger assembly. Partially figured, oil finish, over sized walnut stock, weighted around action with brown polymer and handguard, sling swivels and buttplate with cavity for cleaning kit and oiler. Retains about 98% of parkerized finish overall with a few light scattered marks from use and some wear on bolt stock is excellent with a few light marks scattered. Triggerguard has Springfield band still attached with important information and tags complete with blue and white Springfield box and envelope containing parts diagram, price list, manual, and other paperwork.
