November 5th & 6th 2016 Premier Firearms Sale

This pistol was manufactured in 1925, the first year of full production of the new A1 Model. It is standard with blued finish, checkered walnut grips and all pre-war checkered small parts. Sports high rear wind-adjustable Patridge sight (listed on box end label). This pistol exhibits literally no visible wear of any kind. No drag line, but does have one spot where drag line would start. Comes in the original hinged box with proper end label. Bottom of box is numbered to gun in pencil. Comes with two near mint correct two-toned magazines, an original Colt Government Model booklet, a proper ammunition card, and special instructions, all of which are in near mint condition. Has original wax paper. One of the finest condition pre-war 1911s and would be virtually un-improvable save for a couple minor storage marks, as would be found on any 90 year old weapon. Even the box is in excellent condition with perfect label and aprons. About as close to a time machine as one could get.
