Octagonal, smoothbore barrel with centered rear notch sight, typical of Lehigh Co. Percussion lock with rounded engraved tail. Engraved two-piece brass patchbox with pineapple finial. Brass furniture. Partially figured maple stock. This rifle is in as found, uncleaned condition. The barrel has a brown patina and shows some edge wear and pitting around breech. Lock retains a dark brown patina with areas of surface rust. Unpolished patchbox and brass furniture, missing ramrod entry ferrule. Stock is good with scattered marks from use, cracks and toe of buttstock missing, ramrod missing.
