Manufactured 1974. Blued round barrel with front ramp sight and integral ejector rod shroud; marked on both sides with standard Detective Special markings. Blued six shot fluted cylinder. Blue double action frame with opening lever on left side and stamped with rampant Colt. Top with deep groove for sight bordered by serrated panels. Matte blue hammer with polished sides, varnished walnut wrap around grips with checkered panels on each side. Excellent condition; retains 98%+ original blue finish.. Cylinder has a very light drag line. Left side of frame has a series of very small scratches. Grips are excellent with a few light storage marks. Excellent bore.
