Tapered round barrel, tang marked “M1777.” Steel ramrod. Brass action and furniture. Lockplate marked “Maubeuge” in script on right side beneath reinforced cock, brass pan. Model 1777 brass furniture, buttcap marked “B 3” on tang. Belt hook is missing. Walnut grip marked “A.V.A83.” Very good condition. Barrel retains a grey spotted patina with some surface rust on top. Brass retains an unpolished mellow brass patina. Markings excellent. Grips very good, scattered marks from use and gash on right side.
