Manufactured 1909. Standard Takedown Model 1890 features full octagon barrel, tube fed magazine, blue finish, takedown, Winchester sporting front and rear sights, walnut buttstock with rifle butt and grooved walnut forend. This example is in far above average condition. The barrel retains approximately 80% original factory blue finish with razor sharp edges and legends. Tube is basically brown-blue patina. Frame retains approximately 70% original factory blue with the balance simply turning plum. Walnut buttstock is excellent, proud to metal, with no cracks and just the usual nicks. Excellent forend with no cracks. Perfect working order. Strong rifled bore with usual minor abrasions. Nice and clean 1890.
