This quality Mauser Sporting rifle features a part octagon barrel, two leaf folding rear sight, ramp front sight, full length matted rib, sling eyes, integral quick release claw mounts, double set triggers. Sports a quality German pre-war scope with line and post, perfect optics. Engraved frame and butterknife bolt handle. The classic style stock resembles a custom Adolph or Newton with carved Schnabel forend tip and pistol grip cap, fine line hand checkering, oil finished stock. Metal retains approximately 95-97% original factory blue finish with just some light storage marks. Floorplate and trigger guard are expertly engraved with relief game scenes and engraved screws. Fine bore and action. Classic Mauser pre-war sporting rifle in excellent caliber.
