Manufactured 1944 to 1947. This beautiful Griffin & Howe began life as a war-era Model 70 action and received the full custom Griffin & Howe treatment to include: Griffin & Howe No. 202 barrel with ramp front sight and hood, no rear barrel sight, Lyman 48 receiver sight base, Griffin & Howe quick release detachable scope mount with hidden screws, a Weaver Marksman 3x9 scope, classic Griffin & Howe deluxe grain walnut stock with fine wrap-around checkering, black horn forend tip, roll over cheek piece, red rubber recoil pad, pistol grip cap, sling eyes and brass ID plaque at base. Rifle remains in near new condition in and out. An absolutely gorgeous G&H custom .257 Roberts.
